From the North (West Chester) -
SOUTH on
U.S. 1 in to Maryland towards Rising Sun. Approximately 2.5 miles
south of the PA/MD state line turn
RIGHT on to Red Pump
Rd. You'll travel a
short distance and turn LEFT on to Ridge Rd. Continue on Ridge Road in to the
Horseshoe Scout Reservation. through the camp
entrance gate, past the stone house and follow the road on into the camp
parking lot.
From the North (Lancaster) -
Take 222 SOUTH in to the town of Wakefield. Turn LEFT on to 272 and
follow towards Nottingham. Exit 272 on to U.S. 1 SOUTH in Nottingham
towards Rising Sun, Maryland. Approximately
2.5 miles south of the PA/MD state line turn RIGHT on to Red Pump Rd. You'll
travel a short distance and turn LEFT onto Ridge Rd. Continue on Ridge Road
in to the Horseshoe Scout Reservation. through the camp
entrance gate, past the stone house and follow the road on into the camp
parking lot.
From the South -
Take U.S. 1 NORTH across the Susquehanna River Dam in to Conowingo,
Maryland. Follow U.S. 1 towards Rising Sun and make a LEFT on to Red
Pump Rd. You'll travel a short distance and turn LEFT on to Ridge Rd. Continue on Ridge
Road in to the Horseshoe Scout Reservation. through the camp
entrance gate, past the stone house and follow the road on into the camp
parking lot.
Once you've arrived you will need to check in with the Campmaster, who
is located at the Headquarters building directly across from the
parade field.

From the North (West Chester)
- Travel south on U.S. 1 to the Nottingham/Route 272 exit. Make a
RIGHT turn onto 272 (Nottingham Road). Turn LEFT on to Kirks Mill
Road. Follow Kirks Mill Road to Little Britain Road and make a LEFT.
Follow Turn LEFT at
Balance Meeting Road. Just after your turn, bear RIGHT at the fork
(Jubilee Road). Follow Jubilee Road the STOP sign (you will see the
large Camp Ware sign). Continue STRAIGHT through the STOP sign and
follow the road directly into the camp.
ALTERNATE ROUTE TO CAMP WARE:
Travel south on U.S. 1 to the Nottingham/Route 272 exit. Make a RIGHT
turn onto 272 (Nottingham Road). Follow 272 to the SECOND STOP
sign and turn LEFT on to Little Britain Road. Follow Little Britain Road
and turn LEFT at Balance Meeting Road. Just after your turn, bear
RIGHT at the fork (Jubilee Road). Follow Jubilee Road the STOP sign
(you will see the large Camp Ware sign). Continue STRAIGHT through the
STOP sign and follow the road directly into the camp.
From the North (Lancaster) - Take 222 South to 272 in
the town of Wakefield. Make a LEFT on to 272 (Nottingham Road). Go to first STOP sign
and turn RIGHT (Little Britain Road). Follow Little Britain Road and turn LEFT
at Balance Meeting Road. Just after your turn, bear RIGHT at the fork
(Jubilee Road). Follow Jubilee Road to the STOP sign (you will see the
large Camp Ware sign). Continue STRAIGHT through the STOP sign and
follow the road directly into the camp.
From the South - Take U.S. 1 NORTH across the
Susquehanna River Dam in to Conowingo, Maryland. At the traffic light
turn LEFT on to 222. Follow 222 towards Lancaster. Immediately before
the large blue "Welcome to Pennsylvania" sign is
Quarry Road. Turn RIGHT on to Quarry road. Follow Quarry Road to the
Jubilee Road intersection at the top of the winding hill. Once at the top of the hill You will have to
make a hard RIGHT turn onto Jubilee Road (There is a three way STOP at
this intersection. A Stop sign is located in both directions of
Jubilee Road, and the third sign is at Cedar Lane - directly across
from Quarry Road. There is NO stop sign on the Quarry Road side and it may be difficult to see the Camp sign, as it
can be easily missed when coming from this direction). After the hard
right turn, follow Jubilee Road directly in to camp.
Once you've arrived you will first need to check in. The Campmaster can be found at the Headquarters building located on the right hand
side of the main parking lot.
